Dandelion and mouse – brooch / pendant

The first of a series of three harvest mice, that collects seeds from a dandelion.It is a project that I carried out with passion, at a time when I did not have much time for myself and for creative work.Whenever I found a moment, I was immersed in the realization of this beautiful, small form, which is technically very difficult at the same time.You can see that many dandelion fluffs have their stems, the structure is openwork, and inside it sits an exact mouse figure.Since I am a fan of all mice and hamster-like creatures, carving it was preceded by a series of sketches teaching me to understand the shape of such a rodent.

The inside is gold-plated, the mouse is rhodium-plated black.

Dandelion fluffs are diamonted. A drop of water (Swarovski crystal) hangs under the dandelion. The ornament can be worn as a pendant or as a brooch. It has plugs to protect against needle stick injuries.
