A fairly nice and unusual thing happened to me. Recently, a lady from the editorial office of a business newspaper “Franchising” called me and asked for an interview. I was and am quite surprised by this, because let’s be honest – I am not a businesswoman. But if someone decided that what I was doing was interesting, I was happy to talk about it. The newspaper is business-oriented and that is what the interview focused on. In my opinion, it is difficult to combine the spheres of art and business: where capitalist business is profit-oriented by selling “a lot and quickly”, and on the contrary, art is about working “slowly, carefully, with meaning”. So the title of the interview brings with it a certain conflict “Production of artistic jewelery”, just as the sentence “Production of artistic images” would carry. But maybe that is the catch, which could interest the readers. Anyway, thank you very much to Małgorzata Ciechanowska for your interest in my work and a great distinction in the form of an interview on 4 A4 pages 🙂
