“Rękami Stworzone” – stories written in silver

“Rękami Stworzone” in Polish means “Hand Created”. “Created” – not “made”, because the act of creation implicates a trace of soul in the final object’s form. This jewellery is one of a kind. These pieces were handmade from the very beginnig and emanate with the artist’s fantasy and unique style.

They touch the heart directly, because this is how the beauty works – it moves deeply.

Some pieces were dedicated especially for one person and some are available for purchase. All of them can be considered works of art.

Welcome and see for yourself…

Iwona Tamborska

About Me

Iwona Tamborska has been dealing with the art of jewelry since 2010. She creates jewelry pieces that always have a narrative character and an inseparable, fairy-tale overtone. Her works have been noticed during one of the largest jewelry competitions in the world (Saul Bell Design Award 2017), they have been presented several times during exhibitions in National Museums in China, at the Precious Gallery during Bijorhca Paris, in London and during the Coeur du France art festival, GemGeneve in Switzerland.

The unique nature of Iwona Tamborska’s work led to invitations to China, Australia, France and Great Britain to talk about her style and works. Her creative profile was included in the French catalog of jewelry designers “DuoDeci Paris” and the encyclopedia of Polish Goldsmiths. She belongs to the Goldsmithing Artists Association (Poland). In 2021 she was entered on the “Homo Faber” list of the Swiss Michelangelo Foundation, which aims to celebrate, strengthen and cultivate the tradition of European master craftsmanship. She taught classes at the Sydney Art School, Cornwall School of Arts, Craft and Jewelry and the Academy of Artistic Crafts in Wrocław.

Although jewelry is usually associated with a utilitarian object of excellent craftsmanship and sometimes also artistic value, it is rarely understood as a sculpture. And this is exactly what Iwona Tamborska does. Her works are sculptures with hidden stories that come to life when worn on the human body. Her style is strongly marked by the influence of The Art Nouveau, but there is an aspect of a bittersweet understanding of the world by a woman of the 21st century – the artist herself calls her style the “New Secession”.
