Granddaughter

Necklace inspired by a family tradition that connects women from different generations: my great-grandmother, grandmother, mother and me. This tradition is the art of crocheting and the accompanying symbol of a lace collar passed down as a family treasure since my great-grandmother’s time. I myself have not mastered this art, because I am more fascinated by working with metal. So I made my own version of a lace necklace in silver. Additionally, the clasp is made based on the decorative clasp from my grandmother’s old necklace.
