Spirit of Spring – necklace

Silver necklace inspired by the works of Rene Lalique. The Spring spirit has giant butterfly-like wings adorned with amethysts. I have chosen this stone, because I associate spring with violas – one of the first flowers that appear when the sun and spring butterflies begin to show. The butterfly is arranged on a necklace made with faceted amethysts. Its uneven line corresponds with the wings’ frizzled character. From under the butterfly hang 3 long strings of amethysts, finished with green Ethiopian opals.

The piece was showcased during the “Fairy tales written with silver” exhibition in the Distrcit Museum in Toruń, Poland (2023) and during GemGeneve in Geneva, Switzerland (2023).
