4 winds Boreas, Zephyr, Notus, Eurus – earrings

These earrings depict the motif of the 4 winds from Greek mythology. Zephyr, who embodied the gentle, warm, moist wind blowing from the west, is the gilded side paired with beautiful Australian opals. There is tanzanite embedded in his forehead. On the other side of the earring is the personification of Boreas – the god of the cold north wind, the harbinger of winter. Its earring side is silver, with the Australian opal back showing through. There is also a tanzanite in his forehead.

The front of the second earring is decorated with Notus – he personified a hot, humid, strong wind blowing from the south, bringing rains and fogs. His forehead is adorned with tanzanite, and he is surrounded by Australian opals (with red sparks) set in a cool setting of silver. The back of the earring is occupied by the personification of Euros. It was the southeast wind, “the one that burns.” Tanzanite is set on its forehead, and the entirety of its side is gold-plated, with an ornate cutout showing the rocky back of the opal.

The elements of the loops are connected in such a way that they make a pleasant sound, like wind chimes.
