„Angels of Craft” is an important initiative that supports talented Polish creators of artistic crafts in Poland. The aim of the Competition is to provide the three most talented artists with an annual scholarship for further education and development. The originator of the project is Izabela Łapińska – a fashion designer who has been collaborating with Polish craftsmen for years. From the beginning of her career, the artist has been cultivating unique design and the best craftsmanship in her projects.
“In Poland, the path of young artists is difficult. Real patronage is rare, there are not many authorities, people who really know various fields of art and would devote time and money to support creators. That’s why we often hear that so many directors, sculptors, famous painters, decide to leave our country to continue creating.”- Izabela Łapińska, Forbes Women
On October 11, the Competition Jury selected 18 artists’ works from the submitted applications, which will be presented on November 16, 2023 at an exhibition at the Royal Sculpture Gallery in the Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw.
