” #IwonaTamborska works under the name “Rękami Stworzone”, which in Polish means “Created by Hands”.
She is a #storyteller who sculpts her stories in silver. Sometimes those stories are short, sometimes they are bitter-sweet #fairytales, that often have a hint of nostalgia over the passing of life and its meaning. They are not just jewelry but much more.
1. 2. Black castle – ring
Ring made especially for the GemGeneve 2023 exhibition. The crystal dome in the center of the castle is made of a natural piece of #amethyst of extraordinary beauty and purity. In its structure there are inclusions (probably iron oxides) and fragments that split the light into a rainbow visible inside the crystal. The turrets of the castle are made of Ethiopian opals.

4. Fortuna – brooch
Piece prepared especially for #GemGeneve. It is inspired by the iconic piece by #ReneLalique. Fortuna is the goddess of fate, bringing good luck, but also other cruel events (missfortune). Pink color symbolizes good luck, green color symbolizes bad luck. In her claws she holds pieces of ruby and emerald, from which hang down on chains, as if on scales, a pink symbol of joy and a dark green skull (tourmalines). The goddess has a form of a golden and black dragonfly, a beautiful predator with emerald eyes. She has a venomous sting made of an emerald in her tail, but her heart is made of ruby. Behind her back is a string of pink and green beads – moments in life. It is made of tourmalines and emeralds.
5. Small Town (Thistle) – ring
The name of the ring refers to the small town where she was born and raised.
6. Crocus ring
