Chris Gasiewicz photography and Iwona Tamborska jewellery

Chris Gasiewicz, based in Frankfurt, was the other photographer that accepted my challenge. The pictures captured by him are very romantic, they concentrate on magical scenery created by nature. The light, the trees, plants, colours, are all actors that play a part in this visual story.  Although the photos seem still, they actually capture a moment from a fairytale being told just as you look at them. Thank you, Chris, for this beautiful job <3 I love all the beaufitul stories you have captured for me <3 And let me share a secret with you – I know, that the day, those pictures were being made, was very cold and Chris had a fever. So it is not only the wonderful effect that I am grateful for, but also for the very hard job you and the beutiful model had to do, to achieve this breath-taking effect.

The model is wearing “Cherry Amber” necklace

Asymmetric silver necklace with a natural amber in a rare cherry colour. One part of the necklace is mirror-polished and geometrical – the other part is white and decorated with floral-like ornaments.

The model is wearing “Snake and a Persian poem” necklace:

This is a design of a necklace, that I’ve been wanting to make for a long time. The snake is made of bronze with garnet eyes. Its collar is made of silver and brass, decorated with garnets. If you look closely, you will notice that the scales on the snake’s back are in fact a Persian poem by Rumi Moulana (fragment of sonnet nr 95). The poem has many repetitions and hustling sounds, which give it a hypnotic character.

The model is wearing “Klimt Kiss” necklace

Silver necklace with a bumblebee jasper, inspired by Klimt’s painting – the Kiss. The silver is partly gold plated, so corresponds with the painting’s idea. The pendant is composed on strings of hematites.

The model is wearing the “Valkyrie” necklace

Silver necklace inspired by a warrior-goddess from the Norse mythology. Goddess’ head in a winged helmet protects the Northern Lights locked in a labradorite (according to a legend). Also magical Iceland’s runes were composed as a part of the necklace’s chain: Aron’s shield, wish making rune, Surtarbrand and a sign protecting from ghosts (you can read more about them in here: http://blog.rekamistworzone.com/runy-islandzkie ). I wanted this work to have an ethnic character, be look fierce and have a warrior’s spirit. The composition is enriched by bunches of peacock’s feathers, Paua shell’s fangs, amber, turquoise, jade and labradorite beads.
