I am pleased to announce that I have been invited to give the inaugural lecture of the academic year 2022/2023 at the Academy of Artistic Crafts and Management in Wrocław (Poland). I will talk about “The latest jewelry trends”. The lecture will be held on October 1 at 10:00, at Plac Św. Macieja 21, Wrocław, Poland.

I am very excited about it, because it is not only a great honor, which flatters me, but also the opportunity to share the knowledge and opinions of people who are absolute authorities in the field of jewelry in the world.

You must know that I asked Vivienne Becker, Katerina Perez, Laura Inghirami (founder of Donna Jewel) for their opinion, who were so nice that they provided me with their very interesting insights on what is happening now in various branches of art called jewelry . I am very grateful to them because I think this is the most interesting angle from which I could approach the topic of “trends”. As a lecturer, I am already excited about this fact. That’s why I think it’s a real treat for the audience!

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of giving an inaugural speach at the University of Artistic Crafts and Management in Wrocław on the subject of “Latest Trends in Jewelery”. Thank you very much for this honor. As I mentioned earlier, I decided to approach the topic from the best angle from my point of view – that is, asking for their opinion my great authorities, and objectively speaking, the undisputed world authorities in the field of history, jewelry expertise and its greatest designers, i.e. Vivienne Becker, Katerina Perez, Laura Inghirami. I was lucky in my life to meet these people, so I dared to take such a bold step. I am very grateful to them for their kind heart, help and unique knowledge of world specialists. Judging by the ovations and opinions received after – the lecture was really interesting and met the audience’s enthusiasm.

I was able to make the recording, but the sound is not the best – hence I wonder whether to publish it.

Anyway, thank you to everyone for listening to my lecture (especially to the people who came especially to listen to me and give their support). I did put quite a bit of work and passion into it. I like public speaking very much and I am glad when my lectures turn out to find the interest of the audience.

I would like to introduce my respondents, starting from the youngest:

“Great jewelry and precious gemstones really represent the beauty of human expression,” says Katerina. “The time and effort devoted to designing jewelry and creating gemstones gives it weight, a deeper meaning that cannot be achieved with accessories that go in and out of fashion. They are a unique form of artistic enterprise that deserves the same admiration and omnipresence as music, fashion and painting. Beautiful jewelry is no different from works of art and should be enjoyed in exactly the same way. ”
