Some time ago I announced a photo challenge with the use of my works. You might have seen some single pictures that I posted, but today I would like to make a summary. These mesmerizing pictures were taken by Margo Skwara. I can not express enough how much I am in love with them. All the photos are hipnotizing, magical and wonderfully balanced. The contrast between the seemingly carefree age of those girls and the maturity and internal wisdom they seem to have makes me feel this is exactly that kind of message, that I try to conclude in all my jewelry works. Thank you dear Margo for these art works. I could have never imagined anything better for my jewelry. Youare a true Artist <3

Model Fifi is wearing “Lotus – ring” :

Very decorative silver ring inspired by a lotus flower. The center of the ring is an amethyst protected by silver petals – pearl white and gold plated. Above it flutter 3 silver butterflies in 3 different rainbow colours. The bottom of the ring is engraved and adorned with a black labradorite. The whole ring looks like a scene from a fairytale.

The model is wearing a “Black butterfly – brooch/pendant”

Silver brooch/pendant based on a real, giant butterfly.  I used an old Korean technique, called keum-boo, to adorn it with 24k gold. The silver is oxidized to give the butterfly a deep black color.

The Model Zuzia is wearing a Grasshopper brooch:

Silver brooch inspired by the fairytale Pinokio. The grasshopper is the voice of good in Pinokio’s decissions, it is his conscience. It is adorned with 24k gold flakes melted into silver oxidized black. Looks great also as a piece from man’s jewelry.

The Model Zuzia is wearing the “Flying beetle with an amber – brooch”:

Silver brooch with a flying beetle. The body of the beetle is decorated with a hand-cut and polished amber. The back is decorated with an amethyst. The silver is kept in pearl-white colour and partly gold-plated, the legs are oxidized black.
