Arctic Moth – brooch/pendant

Arctiinae moths are characterized by a specific wing arrangement. My moth has a woman’s face hidden between its wings. Above her head is a beautiful specimen of rutile quartz which create an unusual dotted pattern. They were the motif that was reproduced on the wings of my white moth. Then I found out that one of the beautiful moths of the Arctiinae family (Hyphantria cunea) looks very similar to the one I made with my own hands.
