Artemis – silver button from the “Gods of Olympus” series
Artemis – in Greek mythology, the goddess of moonlight and hunting. She was called the “great huntress”, hence her attributes are a bow, arrows, a quiver, and the animal accompanying her – a doe. Artemis was also the patroness of mountains, forests and wild animals. She is a twin sister of Apollo. Their parents are Zeus and Titan Leto.
On her forehead in the crown is a faceted moonstone (fi 2 mm) with a delicate, blue glow.

Gods of Olympus
In Greek mythology, the gods who ruled the world and human life lived on top of Mount Olympus. There were 12 of them: Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hermes, Hephaestus, Athena, Ares, Artemis, Apollo, Aphrodite, Demeter, Hades. They were the inspiration for creating 12 buttons decorated with appropriate stones corresponding with a certain god.
