Depression

Piece made for the exhibition “In my opinion”.It talks about the emotions associated with depression.It is a state that cannot be seen.It often hides behind a beautiful, well-groomed face that gives the impression that everything is fine.But if you could look inside the thoughts of such a person, you can see the darkness of their thoughts that swirl and devour them from the inside.These thoughts are symbolized by insects – which are partly made of silver, partly real insects covered with resin.They can be seen in this artwork by spreading the beetle’s wings (mounted on magnets) covering half of the beautiful, transparent face.
