Butterfly – brooch

Silver brooch based on a shape of a real butterfly, which wings were manually covered with many thin layers of silver. I am always amazed how manual work influences the feeling of etheralness of the wings and the impression of movement. The upper parts of wings are gold-plated, the lower parts and oxidized.
