Crocus ring

Silver ring with a centrally set amethyst, on the sides of which there are numerous crocuses. The ring was inspired by a meadow of crocuses that covered the lawn in front of my house in early spring 2023. I started working on it when the first flowers bloomed, I finished when the last of them faded. The insides of the flowers’ calyxes are decorated with yellow sapphires, but one has a natural violet amethyst dome inside, and the other has a golden Baltic amber. The openwork construction of the ring is decorated with yellow and blue sapphires.

The piece was showcased during an exhibition in the Distrcit Museum in Toruń, Poland (2023) and during GemGeneve in Geneva, Switzerland (2023).
