Dragonfly Lady

Necklace inspired by a drawing I made, while I was teaching the Metal Clay technique in Sydney Art School. The composition of the design is quite Art Nouveau-like, with a hinch of my favourite jewelry artist Rene Lalique. The body of the Dragonfly Lady is made of shell and silver. From her head scatter herds of dragonflies, like ideas or dreams. The necklace is adorned with a beautiful piece of Australian opal, which I brought from the red desert. The necklace is composed on a brass collar.
