Iceland – bracelet

Massive silver bracelet, the form of which is to be associated with harsh Iceland, full of volcanic rocks and caves. The bracelet is empty inside and allows you to look into numerous openings and “through”, as if into a mysterious cave. The bracelet is decorated with many natural stones of volcanic origin: garnets and olivines as well as gold veins running through the massif of silver as if through a rock. The bracelet holds the rough fragment of labradorite between its arms by a type of tension setting.

Dimensions: about 12 cm outside diameter, about 4 cm wide and 2.5 cm thick; internal diameter about 6,5 cm (by the labradorite is a slight deformation of the inner circular shape of the bracelet, that gives extra space for the thumb – 7,5 cm).

The piece was showcased during the “Fairy tales written with silver” exhibition in the Distrcit Museum in Toruń, Poland (2023) and during GemGeneve in Geneva, Switzerland (2023).
