Joy Bell

Silver is a metal that produces a beautiful sound, incomparable to any other. These properties are used in music – guitar picks made of silver make the sound of strings extremely beautiful, saxophone mouthpieces are said to be made of silver for the same reason. The silver bell makes a sound so pleasant and joyful that a smile appears on your face. That’s why I decided to make this piece.

I would like this object to bring joy to the soul, sometimes numb, sometimes overwhelmed by the excess of difficult matters. Inside is a silver nugget, enclosed in an openwork ball, enclosed in an openwork ball decorated with small fish. The chain can be taken off the silver bell, so it can be rolled in one’s hand, played with, gently shaken, and it makes a delicate, extremely pleasant ringing, as if it was singing with the voice of a small bird.
