Spiral Galaxy – necklace

Galaxythat consists of a flat, rotating disc containing stars, gas and dust, and a central concentration of stars known as the bulge. Spiral galaxies are named for the spiral structures that extend from the center into the disk. The spiral arms are sites of ongoing star formation and are brighter than the surrounding disk. The center of the necklace is decorated with a tektite, that was formed during a meteor crash in China in about V century A.D. It is made of silver, decorated with pearls.
