The potential

Opals consist of water, locked in their structure. Because of that they are able to split the light beam and shine with all the colours of rainbow. They can have a really strong, internal fire.

There is a legend about opals, which says that they might be the “philosopher’s stone”. It is said, that an opal is like a “child of gods”, because it has a power to become whoever it wants: a ruby, a sapphire, a diamond, an emerald – because it contains all those colors, but it hasn’t decided yet. That is why it has the power to change the reality, if it only wishes to do so – because it has all the potential to do it.

The necklace is made of: silver, butterfly’s wings, gold plated lips, australian opal. Hangs on a see-through line, which makes it look like it is floating in the air.
