Valkyrie – silver necklace

Silver necklace inspired by a warrior-goddess from the Norse mythology. Goddess’ head in a winged helmet protects the Northern Lights locked in a labradorite (according to a legend). Also magical Iceland’s runes were composed as a part of the necklace’s chain: Aron’s shield, wish making rune, Surtarbrand and a sign protecting from ghosts (you can read more about them in here: /runy-islandzkie ). I wanted this work to have an ethnic character, be look fierce and have a warrior’s spirit. The composition is enriched by bunches of peacock’s feathers, Paua shell’s fangs, amber, turquoise, jade and labradorite beads.
