A few months ago I took part in a project initiated by Marta Norenberg called “The Cabinet of Curiosities”. She mobilized 11 jewelry artists to release their creative thought and create a work that has long been waiting to be realized somewhere deep in our souls, but has been pushed aside by various matters of everyday life.

The fruit of the Cabinet of Curiosities is a calendar with works by artists whose creative styles are extremely different, but undeniably admirable and exquisite.

The necklace was inspired by a rare piece of amber with features of a magnifying lens. In addition, it contains a blade of grass (which is 40 million years old) inside. I wanted to use these 2 unusual features, which is why the necklace itself is a garden and the details of it can be viewed with the amber magnifying glass. One can discover in the necklace some apple blossoms with amber buds, raspberry fruit, a dragonfly (enameled), a bee, a butterfly, a bird flying to its blue egg. The magnifier is removable from the necklace, so one can wear it in a shorter (without magnifier) and longer version.
In addition to that, the pictures of my necklace were printed in a large format and used for promotion of the Polish Pavilion during the International Culture and Tourism Fair, “2020 Guangdong 21sth Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo”.
