I am honored to inform you that my “Fairy Tale Chess” and the winner of the “Saul Bell Design Award” – “Triptych” are exhibited during the largest amber jewelery exhibition in China. The exhibition called “Beauty trapped in time” includes over 800 exhibits from private collections borrowed from the Museum of the Earth of the Polish Academy of Sciences documenting the evolution of Polish amber art from the 1970s to the present day. I am very grateful to the exhibition’s organizer Sebastian Tajl and the brilliant artistic director Jack Yang for choosing me as one of the artists whose pieces are exhibited.
The exhibition itself has already been described by one of Polish media Amber.com.pl https://www.amber.com.pl/aktualnosci/93-wystawy/3418-piekno-zatrzymane-w-czasie-najwieksza-wystawa-bursztynu-w-chinach
In China, it is a major cultural event in the region, so more than 30 local and Chinese media outlets have opened at the opening, over 130,000 people have followed the online broadcast of the opening, and the museum has so far had nearly half a million visits to its website.
This is the official film from this amazing exhibition, my works can be seen in the minutes: 2:47 – 2:53
Edit 12.03.2021: The Chinese National Museum (Yunnan Province) made such small promoting video with them. make sure to turn on the sound! https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/GNQWX1Yq5j3Od6ujZMP_zA
