I am very pleased to share the news, that I have been awarded with the “Luxembourg Art Prize” certificate of recognition. Currently, this is especially important for me to a point, where at the time I found out about it, I couldn’t stop my hands from trembling for a few hours.
The Pinacothèque is a private museum in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Its president and founder is Hervé Lancelin, one of the most influential art collectors in Europe. The Museum is the organizer of one of the most prestigious international art contests in the world – The Luxembourg Art Prize. For years, the museum has been offering talented artists international visibility and for the 3 selected winners – serious money winnings. I am of course not one of those lucky people, but I am still very very proud to get the certificate as a symbol of being noticed between the sea of other artists submitting their works from the field of broadly understood art: painting, photography, sculpture, decorative arts, visual arts, etc.
The Museum issues a certificate of artistic merit to those artists, who distinguished themselves from a qualitative perspective. This certificate can be obtained in 9 foreign languages. The objective of the certificate is to provide official recognition from the Museum to artist participants whose merit and artistic talent have been specifically noted. The prizes and the certificate aim to give the artists a sound reference to add to their curriculum vitae.

congratulations! I received one as well. At first I thought this is something everyone gets for their paid entry. Come to find out thats not the case at all. I am ever si humble. The people I was competing with are educated scholars whereas i have no formsl training. I actually felt quite stupid even attempting this context. A friend of mine urged me to try. I will happily accept this certificate and display it proudly!
