Athena – Greek goddess of wisdom, art, and just war (defensive). She was often depicted with a helmet and a spear, and her sacred symbols were an owl and an olive tree. According to legend, Athena was the daughter of Zeus and had no mother, because she was born directly from her father’s head. This goddess had no husband or children, and as the goddess of wisdom, she gave people knowledge and wisdom.

In Greek mythology, the gods who ruled the world and human life lived on top of Mount Olympus. There were 12 of them: Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hermes, Hephaestus, Athena, Ares, Artemis, Apollo, Aphrodite, Demeter, Hades.
