Snail King (Manfred)

Silver pendant/brooch, which is  apart of „3 snails” set. The “Snail King” is the most grand out of all three – its pearl shell (Turbo imperialis), body and antennas are richly decorated with garnets, moon stones, white topazes and strings of silver beads. Its creation was inspired by a grape snail, which I met during one of my walks. I spent a while observing its movement, made a couple of sketches and finally during several attempts of learning how to sculpt its body, I grasped the nature of its body’s construction. The other two were created on the wave of enthusiasm during the process of learning.
