Watermelon parrots – earrings

Asymmetric earrings with flying parrots – Rainbow lorikeets. Each of them carries fragments of watermelon tourmalines in their claws. Lorikeets are very colorful birds, I was delighted with them in Australia. I decided to transfer this play of colors to the silver sculpture by extending their tails with strands of watermelon tourmaline beads, which additionally move and sparkle. The eyes of parrots are made of sapphires. The parrot’s feathers (front) are adorned with gold flakes melted into white silver surface.
The jewelry piece was exhibited in the Distrcit Museum in Toruń (Poland, 2023) and during Gemgeneve show in Geneva (2023).
